Telling Stories with Visualizations

Tableau is a powerful software that can help anyone understand vast amounts of data by creating meaningful visualizations. I was curious to learn more about tuberculosis. Check out my findings here:

A few conclusions:

• India has the highest number of estimated TB incidents; Africa, as a whole, also has a high number of TB incidents, but with HIV-positive.

• The estimated number of TB incidents in India (and SE Asia) has been decreasing through 2014, but increasing in Africa.

• SE Asia still has a higher number of incidents than Africa.

• All other regions thankfully have overall low incident numbers, and they continue to decrease.
